Vintage Details

I love a little bit of vintage at home, I collect pieces on my travels. These pieces have already had a life and the stories surrounding them give an extra dimension to decor, they speak of a home that is lived in and welcoming.

An old mirror can act as a decorative feature in a bedroom (especially good in small spaces) or try antique mirror place on top of a dresser for a vintage touch. My hand mirrors are heirlooms from my mother so are extra special. (necklace in picture from ANNA
Junk shops, carboot sales and flea markets are great places to pick up one-off vintage pieces at a good price. Look out for embroidered initials on fabric, they add a personal touch to bed linen. I was lucky enough to find my initials embroidered at Holkham Country Fair, this now takes pride of place at the end of my bed.

A threadbare rug is a brilliant statement piece in a lounge, it anchors the room and is steeped in history. My rug has served as inspiration for our new collection, which features worn and faded textures and patterns.

Walking in Overy

Burnham Overy Staithe..... My favourite place. I have many happy memories of summers spent sailing with my children.

It's also a brilliant place for walks in winter hence the Arctic Parka by Woolrich, a must for North Norfolk die hards and us City folk! I stock them every winter, they are very warm and beautiful quality, so will last you a lifetime!

As neon is in my 'blood' I cant even go for a walk without it..... check out these fabulous Neon Boots for £195..

My favourite jean is currently the boyfriend, the ones I'm wearing are by NSF, they have a great fit and are slightly cropped so work with ankle boots.
